Why is SweatShop Partnering with IGF?

Supporting our community in all paths to Health and Wellness is the SweatShop mission. We recognize in this age of stress and chaos in our lives, we are ALL living on the trauma spectrum, in one form or another. We are exploring the overlap in recognizing our need for self-love, self-care, and the skills we can teach and learn to reach higher levels of health and radical compassion in our community. The SweatShop staff is collaborating to learn from IGF and lend support in many ways, including, this fundraiser.

What is Mind-Body Medicine?

The IGF Workshop Team has over four years of training from national and international experts in mind-body medicine and healing from trauma, including Resmaa Menakem. Our team is lead by Jan Mandell, a SweatShop member and nationally acclaimed Theater Director (retired) for Saint Paul Central High School. We reach over 6,000 children and adults annually through interactive workshops and performances that teach participants how reduce stress and heal from trauma.
