Irreducible Grace Foundation Presents "The Healing Heart, Journeys of Resilience"
Time & Location
About the Event
The Healing Heart documents the journey of 10 young artists who over the course of four years learned to identify and heal from past trauma. Told through dance, drumming, spoken word, acting and audience participation, these young articts share their own personal healing. "What makes this process different is that we’re not only telling our stories and how we’ve healed, but that we incorporate the tools we’ve used to get where we are and that we acknowledge that the work never stops,” Mariana Morgan Sawyer (cast).
This activity made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitian Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. A special thank you to the Metro Regional Arts Council for making this performance possible.
